I am SO glad that this isn't another cutesy song. They did so much better than Morning Musume with "Resonant Blue". They're just so cool that they go "Nana nananana" and make MoMusu "Cry, cry, don't cry...." Haha. XD But OMG. I LOOOVE THIS SONG!

 

Video: 9/10

Finally, an awesome video! The contrast between their outfits and the background is AWESOME! They don't blend in like MoMusu did, which is good! <333 I've always loved H!P's spinny wheel thing, and they make it look HAWT!

 

Dance: 9/10

Oh lala~ It's so awesome! I love dances that look hard yet awesome, but are easy to learn! I'm already learning it~ Raburaburabuuuuu~

Adoooooramabubble! I absolutely love it. <3 I mean, it's so easy to sing along to! "Dododo KISS! Dadadododo KISS! Dadiduda RU!"...  You get it. Plus the really quiet "chu chu, chuchu chu-chu" are awesome cute.

Waaa TT^TT Soooooo cute! And of course, Momoko gets all the cute parts. -___- (Airi can be cute, too!) I love the set, and the chalkboard! *o* Unbelievably adorable~

Well, from what we can see from the video... PEACE! Haha, a great way to make anything cute. *o* It's very basic, with lots of jumping and... cuteness. *o*

School uniforms! *o* -gawk- Airi & Miyabi look hawt, man. And Momoko... yeah, whatever. But yes, they are very cute! ^3^ Their outfits match well, but they don't really match eachother (apart from the fact that they're all in school uniform)

My ears are dead. This song is just too high for C-ute. Well, Airi can pull it off, but I mean seriously, did you not hear that "Yeeaaaiiih wowooow yeaaiii yeaaah" she did in FIRST KISS? Wow. But that's not the point. Anyway, the song has a nice, cute Latin-y tune. =3 Gewd.

 

Video: 6/10

Paah~ Well, the lighting really does make it look sunset-y, which is cool, but there's too many slow-mo close-ups. It's pretty boring, if you ask me.

 

Dance: 8/10

Ooooh~ Me likey. =D It's very detailed, lots of twirling and clapping. I just like it. XD

 

Outifts: 7/10

Eugh, boring. Nakajima looks like a hobo with that beanie and scarf, and Airi, Maimi and Chisato look slutty with those shorty short-shorts. But they were going for the 'cool' look, so I suppose it's okay.

Ahh~ It's so cool! =D I love it love it love it! But Reina. Ai and Koharu need to give some of their lines to the other girls~ Why does Koharu get so many lines if her voice sounds so horrible? D= At least Ai and Reina can say "Help me" without sounding like they're hiccuping.

Haha~ The blue tint is cool and the set it cool, but they shouldn't have made the whole video just the dance (Well, close-ups of Ai, Reina and Koharu, at least.). Seriously, I didn't see Linlin OR Junjun's faces ONCE. FOR SERIOUS.

 

Dance: 8/10

It's so coooool~ Not to mention easy to learn. All you have to do is shake your head around like you're throwing a tantrum. Haha. Nice one. MoMusu.

 

Outfits: 7/10

Well, they're very basic. Black, black, black. Very boring, too. But I suppose they were trying the 'cool' image. Still, it doesn't have to be entirely black.

Well, it's a cover song, so I suppose they did the best they could to make it J-Poppy. XD But I like it, nonetheless. It's fun and upbeat and the chorus is easy to sing along to, haha. But Risako needed less lines. </3

Adooooramabubble! (Adorable) The little kids in the crowd are awesome cute... but Risako looks too serious when she's singing, haha. XD Also the shots of them in the hall with the random items is funny. =D The lighting is a bit too light, though.

 

Dance: 8/10

Haha, nice and simple. I like it. <3 Except I have horrible balance, so I can never do the "Hey brother, Ho brother" bits without stumbling. XD Not that that matters. Anyway, they did the best they could do with such an un-dancy song.

 

Outfits: 6/10

Err... They're okay, I suppose. They don't reall stand out or anything, and they're nothing special.

I will be rating 'Anataboshi' in four aspects: Song, video, dance and outfits. (And I will do this with all of my other reviews, too.)

Well, first off, PLEASE LEARN TO SING, KOHARU! Like most others, I cannot stand her voice. But Sayaka and Yuu's voices are just fine, and they should've had more solo lines. But of course, Koharu is the star of Kirarin Revolution and even though we all hate her, she gets to sing lead. For serious. Other than that, the instrumental is great. Has a bit of a Scottish feel, which is weird. XD 

 

Video: 10/10

Oooh~ it's so cute. =3 the 2-d sets and the black background really contrast against their outfits. The star constellations in the background are smart too since their group name is 'Milky Way'. The downwards shots of them singing and the little glittery things are cute, too. =3

 

Dance: 7/10

Eugh. I mean, it's well done and looks like it was very complicated to learn, but I just don't like it. BUT they did match the song well with the tambourine movements. And with the weird Scottish or Irish or whatever feet movements, I suppose they had no choice. But still, I don't like it. XD

 

Oufits: 4/10

Ewwwww. For serious, what were their designers thinking? The one I feel for most would have to be Sayaka. I mean, you can have tights, but for the love of H!P do not add frills onto the end of them! There's a point when something's cute, but they have just gone too far! And Yuu's shoes! WHATS WITH THE RIBBONS!?!?!?! THEY DON'T EVEN MATCH HER OUTFIT!  T^T

Well, I was browsing and I saw another person's post of their faves of 2007, so I thought I'd start off my blog with something like that. =3

 

10. Chance! - Koharu Kusumi

Haa~ what can I say? It's a lovely song, yes, but I absolutely hate Koharu's ugly voice, so that's why she's at number ten. =D This song would have been higher if somebody else sang it. XD

9. Tokaikko Junjou - C-ute

Sexy sexy! I love it~ But when I first saw it, I though "WTH! THIS IS MEANT TO BE C-UTE, NOT S-EXY!" But I love the dance & the song in general. It always makes me want to dance. <3

8. Sakura Chirari - C-ute

Now THIS is C-ute! You may be wondering, "WTH, this isn't better than Tokaikko Junjou!!!", but I assure you, it is. 2007 was a wonderful year for C-ute, and this was the blossoming of their stardom!!!

7. LU  LU LU - GAM

Yay~ My two favourite soloists... TOGETHER! I love sexy this song is, haha~ Basically pwns all other duos, apart from W, of course. AND it makes me want to eat chocolate, and no other song has the power to do that! XDD

 

6. Mikan - Morning Musume

Ah yeah, it's a pretty good song. =3 It always makes me feel happy + it's cute. I would've liked it better if the dance was better, though. DX

5. Meguru Koi no Kisetsu - C-ute

Beyond awesome! I love it to the end of the earth!!! They look more than adorable + the video was awesome cool with the slidey-ness. =3

4. Jaja Uma Paradise - v-u-den

What can I say? Well, when I first saw the video, I cracked up laughing~ XD They do look sexy, but.. I dunno, it just made me laugh! Rika really needs less solo lines! Not that it matters now though. Anyway, I <333 it!

 

 

3. Onna ni Sachi Are - Morning Musume

Ahh, Linlin and Junjun's debut single! I love how the mix techno with angry, haha~ Not much to say about it, but I love the dance. Well, Jun and Lin could've had more lines. But psshh.

 

 

2. Egao YES Nude - Morning Musume 

Beyond awesome, haha. I just love everything about it! The dance, the outfits, the melody! Nyaaa~

 

 

 

1. Honto no Jibun - Buono!

My ultimate fave of 2007! Not only Buono!'s first single, but the first J-pop dance I learnt the whole way through, lol. XD I love the rock-ish pop-ish-ness of it. XDD And the dance, and the lyrics too... no wonder it's my fave! =D

 

Well, I hope you enjoyed that. It was a pain in the ass to figure out which ones I liked better. XD~ You may be wondering why there's no Berryz songs on there, and that's because all of their ones released in 2007 sucked ass. Sorry, Berryz, but it's the truth. You can blame Tsunku for that.
